My name is Mrs. Pack. I was born and raised in Jackson, Michigan. I graduated from the University of Michigan in 1982 (GO BLUE!). I began teaching in the fall of 1982 at St. Johns Elementary School. I taught fifth grade there for six years. I was hired by the Western School District in the summer of 1988 to teach fourth grade at Bean. Presently, I teach reading, language arts, social studies, and spelling. My partner, Mrs. Linda Morrow, teaches math and science. In addition, I have developed the ICMM discipline plan, the 40 for Fourth reading program, and the Goal Seekers challenge. I also run the National Geographic Geography Bee each year for fourth and fifth graders. Bean School has been and continues to be, a fabulous place to teach and to learn.
